Shatrughin Sinha calls on Ch Shujat Hussain Ch Parvez Elahi

Lahore: 08-01-2013: Indian actor and Bhartiya Janta Party's Member of the Lok Sabha Shatrughin Sinha called on Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence here today.

On this occasion, Ch Javed Chatha, Major (R) Tahir Sadiq, Moonis Elahi, Raza Hayat Hairaj, Shafay Hussain and Aleem Adil Shaikh were also present.

Shatrughin Sinha said that he has very old relations with the Chaudhry Brothers who are very lovable and social, "whenever I come to Pakistan I specially visit and meet Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi and never gone back without meeting them".

He said that Pakistan is his second home and he has never felt strangeness here, Pakistanis have always welcomed him enthusiastically and affectionately and given him special love and affection which he has never forgotten.

Pervaiz criticizes Punjab govt for abolishing social welfare projects

SIALKOT: Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has strongly criticized the Punjab government.
He alleged that Punjab government has abolished several social welfare and development oriented projects (worth billion of rupees) in Sialkot including the mega project of Sialkot-Lahore Motorway.
He said that the PML-Q backed provincial government had initiated these projects in Sialkot district, but the PML-N government had abolished these projects for it personal political gains, putting aside the public interest, in this regard.
He stated this while addressing a big public gathering at village Siraanwali-Satrah, Daska tehsil on Tuesday.
Pervaiz Elahi said that the PML-Q provincial government had established four degree colleges in Sialkot district during its tenure but the PML-N government led by Shehbaz Sharif had not yet allowed these colleges to run and was still creating hurdles in the way of making these colleges functional.
He said that the Danish Schools, Yellow Cab Scheme and Sasti Roti Scheme have vanished from the Punjab without giving any ort of relief to the people and that showed the failure of the Punjab government's economical and political policies. He said that the people have the right to ask the Punjab rulers about the output of the said, what he said, "vanished projects".
He said that the political future of PML-Q was very bright in the coming political scenario of the country, saying that it would be the right and high time for the PML-Q to shine in future politics of country.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister inaugurated the project of supply of sui-gas to Siraanwali-Satrah and announced the immediate provision of a many a 600 meters of suigas for the area.
