 Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that love for Hazrat Imam Hussain (Radi Allah Anhu) and Ahle Bayt demand that we must maintain peace in the Motherland and demonstrate sacrifice and tolerance.
In their messages on the Ashoor Day, marking anniversary of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (Radi Allah Anhu) and family members of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him), the two leaders said that Shuhda-e-Karabala through their supreme sacrifice taught us the lesson of not only even sacrificing our lives for supremacy of Islam and upholding the righteousness and truth but also maintaining unity, integrity and solidarity in our ranks irrespective of what are the circumstances.
They said 10th of Muharrum ul Haram would keep us reminding till the Day of Judgment about this most unforgettable tragedy of the history of mankind when the grandson of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be upon Him) refused to bow his head before evil forces and through his strong character in this battle of righteousness and evil forces overpowered the swords and became immortal forever and taught us the lesson of standing firm on the just cause irrespective of the results with courage and bravery.
Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi further said in their messages that today we should all pledge not to forget under any circumstances the everlasting philosophy of the supreme sacrifice of Shuhda-e-Karbala and not to give preference to anything over Islam, righteousness, truth and interests of the nation and the country because this is the path by treading on which we can succeed not only in earning the blessings of Almighty Allah and but also attain high status among the comity of nations.
