Nominated Punjab Governor calls on Ch Shujat Hussain Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence

Lahore: 24-12-2012: Nominated Punjab Governor Makhdoom Syed Ahmad Mahmood called on Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence here today.

On this occasion PML Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah President Syed Qasim Shah, former Provincial Minister Mian Imran Masood, Ch Shafaat Hussain, Mian Haroon Masood and Rasikh Elahi were also present.

Talking on this occasion, Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood said "Our and your families are old Muslim Leaguers. My and your elders had close personal relations. My late father Makhdoom Hassan Mahmood greatly respected Ch Zahoor Elahi Shaheed and met him with great reverence and respect whereas I also have great respect and prestige of yours in my heart". He expressed the confidence that old relations between the two families will always remain.

The nominated Punjab Governor further said that he will try to perform his constitutional role in an appreciable manner.

Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi felicitated Makhdoom Ahmad Mahmood and said that they also highly appreciate the old and close relations between the two families.

Ch Parvez Elahi expresses condolence with bereaved family on telephone
Islamabad: 23-12-2012: Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain, Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed and provincial president Syed Qasim Shah attended funeral prayers of ANP senior leader and Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah province Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour while PML senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi telephoned his son Usman Bilour from Lahore and expressed his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family.
Ch Shujat Hussain along with high level party delegation reached Bashir Ahmed Bilour's residence in Peshawar and expressed their condolences with his brothers Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Senator Ilyas Bilour and Aziz Bilour as well as his sons.
PML leaders also expressed their condolences over tragic demise of Bashir Ahmed Bilour with ANP President Asfand Yar Wali, Khyber Pukhtoonkhwah Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and other party leaders and conveyed their heartfelt sorrow and grief and greatly lauded services of the late Bashir Ahmed Bilour for the nation and the country. PML central joint secretary Sufi Anwar was also with the delegation.
