Uninterrupted CNG Supply is our top priority. Ch. Parvez Elahi
Islamabad: 17 August, 2001: Ch. Parvez Elahi, senior central leader of Pakistan Muslim League and senior federal minister for industries and defence production has said that he will do his utmost to eliminate CNG load shedding and restore its uninterrupted supply in the country. CNG is the fuel of the middle class and its shortage has created immense problems for the people of Pakistan.
Ch. Parvez Elahi expressed these views in a meeting held with a delegation of Pakistan CNG association in Islamabad today. The delegation included Brig. (Retd.) Iftikhar Ahmad, Ashghar Haleem, Saluh ud Din, Abbas Khan, Malik Tariq, Muhammad Mazhar, Raja Khurram and Rashid Hafeez.
Speaking on the occasion, Ch. Parvez Elahi said that CNG was an environment friendly fuel. The credit of its introduction goes to our government, he claimed. Ch. Parvez Elahi said the livelihood of millions depended upon the CNG sector and the protection of this sector was his top priority. He assured the delegates that the problems of the CNG sector would be voiced at every government forum. Brig. (Retd) Iftikhar on behalf of CNG association expressed his complete confidence in Ch. Parvez Elahi’s abilities and efforts to solve the problems confronted by the country’s CNG sector.
