Islamabad: 18 August, 2001: A Large number of senior N-League workers from Wazirabad today joined Pakistan Muslim League in the presence of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Islamabad. On the occasion Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Senior Central Leader of Pakistan Muslim League and Senior Federal Minister said that like in the past he would continue to serve the people of Wazirabad and other areas without any personal consideration. Commenting on the suspension of work on Wazirabad cardiology hospital Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that this was an act of an incompetent Chief Minister who was not bothered with the problems of the people. He assured the workers from Wazirabad that he would get the hospital completed with either help from the Federal Government or from any other source. Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that the current Punjab rulers were not interested in the development of Wazirabad. He welcomed the Wazirabad Muslim League workers to Pakistan Muslim League. The Wazirabad League workers who met Chaudhry Parvez Elahi included, Chaudhry Khalid Mehmood Cheema, Chaudhry Muhammad Farooq Riaz, Muhammad Shabbir Cheema, Shoukat Manzoor Hussain, Masood Ahmed, Sarfraz, Muhammad Afzal, Touqeer Ahmed, Mohsin Butt, Ahsan Mughal, Muhammad Ashraf Saleemi, Nabi Ahmed Cheema, Chaudhry Muhammad Azam, Muhammad Abbas, Rashid Ali, Shahbaz Ahmed, Haji Qamar Chattha, Sikandar Ejaz Chattha, Shafaqat Gondal and others.
