Women are important pillar of society, PML is home of every positive thinking Pakistani, Ch Parvez Elahi
Lahore: 10-12-2012: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf District Dera Ghazi Khan President Ms Samia Nusrat called on Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at the State Guest Here today and announced to join PML along with women's district body and colleagues. Welcoming her in the party fold, Ch Parvez Elahi said that women are the backbone in the development of social sector; women working in this sector are in contact with womenfolk at the grass root level and expressed the hope that by further integrating these contacts she would make the Pakistan Muslim League active at the grass root level.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that women are important pillar of the society, PML is the home of every positive thinking Pakistani, we give respect to our colleagues and have worked day and night for the welfare and well-being of the people of the Punjab without any discrimination during our tenure and if got the opportunity would do more welfare work for the better of the people.
Continuing, Ch Parvez Elahi said that we had established medical college, constructed roads, provided stipends and scholarships, free books, uniforms in the education field in Dera Ghazi Khan. He said alongside with the voters of the people, we need to work at the grass root level, entrust important responsibilities in the party to workers playing important role in awakening the conscious of the people, in the next elections PML will not ignore its hard working and sincere workers.
On this occasion, Ms Samia Nusrat said that thinking of PTI has changed, we have joined the Pakistan Muslim League on being impressed by positive thinking of the Chaudhry Brothers, PML leadership do politics according to their family traditions, Punjab made record development during the tenure of Ch Parvez Elahi and this is why the districts of South Punjab regard Ch Parvez Elahi as their benefactor.
She demands of Ch Parvez Elahi that the Punjab Govt. has with-held salaries of 1200 Lady Health Workers of Dera Ghazi Khan for many; the Federation should redress their grievances.
Delegation included Shehnaz Fatima, Shama Parveen, Gulnaz Qaiser, Mrs. Ejaz Hussain, Ms Ishrat, Sumaira Zulqarnain, Naseem Akhtar, Naghma Parveen, Nasreen Bano, Rabia Ahmad, Mugheera Faisal and Saira Imran.
On this occasion, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industries Muhammad Basharat Raja, Aleem Adil Sheikh and Bilal Mustafa Shirazi were also present.
