LAHORE - PML-Q Punjab chapter held a protest rally against the Nato strikes and to express solidarity with Pak Army on Wednesday.
PML-Q Secretary General Chaudhry Zaheer-ud-Din, led the rally, while a good number of party activists participated in the demonstration.
PML-Q leaders Mian Munir, Yusuf Ahad, Haji Imdad Hussain, Mian Shafi, , Idrees Hanif, Dr Seemal Kamran and Dr Samaya Amjad also took part in the protest rally.
The rally, which started from Muslim League House, was joined by groups of the PML-Q till it reached its concluding point at Lahore Press Club. The charged participants chanted slogans like ‘Pakistan will prove graveyard for each of her enemy.’
Meanwhile, the PML-N Lawyers’ Wing held a protest rally on Wednesday against Nato attacks on Pakistani forces. The lawyers gathered at GPO Chowk and chanted slogans against America, Nato and the President Asif Ali Zardari. They demanded of the government to react strongly against the attack and raise the issue in the Security Council of United Nations.
