Langah calls on Pervaiz

LAHORE, April 18: Pakistan Seraiki Party chief Taj Muhammad Langah called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader and former chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Sunday and discussed with him problems facing the south Punjab people.

Mr Langah expressed his gratitude for Mr Elahi for his support for the idea of bifurcating Punjab to carve a Seraiki province out of it.

Mr Elahi regretted that the incumbent rulers put an end to all the development projects initiated by PML-Q government in south Punjab.

He said that he had earmarked special funds to end the sense of deprivation among the people in the cotton belt.

He said that he had been working to provide the people of south Punjab the same facilities as were available to the residents of Lahore. He said that he would fully support the demand for a new province.
