LAHORE: The PML-Q has termed abolishing the local government (LG) system an undemocratic and unconstitutional act, calling an effort to revive a bureaucratic set-up to insult the people and their elected representatives. PML-Q leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin said it was unconstitutional and undemocratic to appoint administrators over institutions which already had constitutionally elected heads. staff report
