KUNDIAN: President Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q), Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that neither there is need of Martial Law nor his party would support it, saying the country cannot afford mid-term elections.
Talking to media men here, President PML-Q while commenting on Swat operation said that it was necessary to take action against those who were challenging writ of the government but the killing of innocent people should be avoided.
Criticizing the policies of the incumbent government, President PML-Q said that the budget for fiscal year 2009-10 completely disappointed the masses and mere on "jugglery of figures". He said that the government failed to meet targets set in the last fiscal year.
Comparing the government of PML-Q with present government, Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain said that the situation in our time was much better as compare to the present time, saying the unannounced load-shedding worsened the situation.
